    Asian Acne patient in Torrance California before and after photodynamic therapy with ALA (Aminoluvulanic iacid). Temporary red (or brown) skin discoloration does occur in about 15% of cases where we are treating darker skin types (Asian, African and Hispanic). The pigment or redness can last from several days to several months.
