This woman in her mid forties had symptomatic, large and heavy breasts. She complained of neck, back and shoulder pain and difficulty buying bras. She underwent a bilateral breast reduction with an inverted T scar (peri-areolar and anchor-shaped scar). The removal of excess glandular tissue and fat effectively decreased her breast size from 36H to 36D. Her neck and back pain resolved immediately after the surgery.
