This is a 65-year-old female with a history of skin cancer of the left upper lip. It was excised by another surgeon and allowed to heal without repair. Due to contraction of her lip scar, she had severe tethering and a snarled appearance. Dr. Kim performed a local flap reconstruction using a V-Y tissue advancement technique to restore her lips to their original appearance.
