Blepharoplasty

This 53-year-old female wanted to rejuvenate her eyelids in order to give her more refreshed and youthful appearance. She had come for revision of a facelift performed by another surgeon. Like many patients in the Austin and Georgetown areas, she wanted to remove the baggy skin from her upper eyelids that gave her a tired and aged appearance. Blepharoplasty is a common procedure that he performs to improve the appearance of both the upper and lower eyelids. He explained that with time the incisions become barely visible because they are hidden in the eyelid crease. While some patients may qualify for insurance coverage of this procedure, this patient did not have enough extra skin to limit her visibility, but had just enough to make her seem older than she felt on the inside.
