PDO (polydioxanone) threads are dissolvable barbed sutures that are placed underneath the surface of the skin in order to lift the tissues of the face to give our patients their “non-surgical” face lift. An in office based procedure which is done with local anesthetics in which patients can expect minimal to zero downtime. The threads can last anywhere from 7-12 months all the while stimulating collagen production to promote overall healthier, better-looking skin. Results depict novathreads to the midface, lower 1/3, and neck to produce the results shown on the right; lifted cheeks, less pronounced marionettes and jowls, and increased jawline definition. Photos were captured prior to and immediately after the procedure signifying instant results.
