55 year old woman treated with Facial Reconstructive Surgery

This is a 55 year old woman who underwent Mohs surgery by a Mohs surgeon to excise a nasal tip skin cancer. Because of the size of her defect, she was referred to me for evaluation and reconstruction. I reconstructed her with a staged paramedian forehead flap. Note the almost imperceptible nasal and forehead scars. Attention to detail is of paramount importance in restoring normal contour.
