60 year-old female with left breast cancer treated with mastectomy and implant-based breast reconstruction by another surgeon. She presented approximately two years later with capsular contracture, poor symmetry, pain, and limited range of motion of her shoulder. An implant exchange with extensive capsulotomies and scar release was performed. She is now pain-free with a much better aesthetic result, and no more limitations in shoulder movement.
