A mother of 2 in her late 30’s who is bothered by “feeling square” like “sponge bob” in the abdomen and hips. She is also bothered by bulging of her abdomen in fitted clothing. She is 5’10” and 150 lbs and is shown before and again, just 2 months after surgery. Scars are typically at their thickest and reddest at the 6 week mark and will now begin to fade and improve over the next two yea4s. There is typically also some swelling in the abdomen and flanks that will continue to improve over the next 4 months. We performed external ultrasound assisted/power assisted liposuction of her flanks and lower back and then performed an abdominoplasty. She reports being two dress sizes smaller after surgery.
