Liposuction of the Abdomen and Flanks

28 year old woman, 5’0" tall, weight 112 pounds dissatisfied with the appearance of excess fat in her abdomen and flanks. Examination showed mild abdominal lipodystrophy with only mild skin laxity and no stretch marks, and a periumbilical rectus diastasis of 2cm. Moderate lipodystrophy of the flanks was also present. Three and a half month post-operative photographs showing results of power-assisted ‘superwet’ technique liposuction of the abdomen and flanks. More than 200cc of fat was aspirated from the abdomen; 200cc of fat was aspirated from the right flank, and 250cc of fat was aspirated from the left flank.
