This patient was a 34-year-old soldier. An old scar of the left jawline was revised simultaneously. He did not find it necessary to take the prescribed painkillers and took Tylenol instead. Eight days after surgery he was back in uniform. At the time of his visit 9 days after surgery, he still had the expected degree of swelling and bruising. The brown spot on the right cheek was gone.
