57-year-old man treated with Facelift.
Having retired early, this patient was returning to the work force. He wanted to look younger to be able to compete in a youth-conscious computer industry. The idea of a stronger, masculine jawline appealed to him. He was a smoker but healed well. He did have a hematoma after surgery which was treated promptly. He thought he looked 10 to 12 years younger. He had some persistent hyperpigmentation of the lower lids which was treated with a bleaching cream. Procedure: Facelift, submental lipectomy, upper and lower blepharoplasties, chin implant, endoscopic forehead lift, fat injection (15 cc), and periorbital CO2 laser resurfacing.
