This patient did not like her large and sagging earlobes. These were reduced using a triangular wedge resection under local anesthesia. She is seen immediately after re-piercing her earlobes, 2 months after the surgery. There is still some swelling and blanching of the skin due to the local anesthetic, which contains a small amount of epinephrine.
