Dermal Filler Injection to Marionette and Accessory Smile Lines

This woman presented for treatment of her mental creases (“marionette lines”) and accessory smile lines (i.e. lines around her mouth). She was very bothered by these lines and felt that they gave a negative impression to clients in her work. After topical anesthetic was applied one syringe of Restylane® was used to treat the mental creases and accessory smile lines. There was dramatic improvement in the cosmetic appearance of the deep lines. The patient was very pleased with the results.
