A 72-year-old cosmetic surgery patient wanted a full rejuvenation of the face. That was a birthday present by her son.

When she presented for cosmetic consultation in our plastic surgery center we discussed face and neck lift surgery, upper and lower eyelid surgery and brow lift. Considering that patient had a moderate heart condition, after consultation with her cardiologist we decided to do her surgery in the hospital where she could receive necessary cardiology care after surgery, if needed.

Her surgery was performed in general anesthesia; it included all necessary preparations for a patient with heart condition to keep her stable and avoid any cardiac complications in the course of her surgery. Surgery included face and neck lift, upper and lower blepharoplasty and brow and forehead lift. Her postoperative course went uneventful. She was discharged from the hospital next day after surgery.

Before facial rejuvenation surgery (left) and 1.5 years after facelift, upper and lower eyelid and endoscopic brow lift surgery (right). Patient had a TCA chemical peel 3 months after surgery. Notice improvement in the neck, jawline, cheeks, around the eyes and mouth. A significant lift and shaping of the brows was achieved with endoscopic brow lift.

A profile view of the patient before facial, eye and forehead surgery (left) and 1.5 years after face and neck lift, eyelid surgery and brow lift (right).

There is a significant change in the neck, jawline, jowls, cheeks and folds around the mouth. Notice a change in skin tone and texture as a result of an intermediate chemical peel.
