This is a young Asian woman who wanted to create natural appearing Asian eyelids by way of double eyelid surgery. An incision technique was used to create a double eyelid with a tapered crease. The surgery took approximately 45 minutes and a practical healing time for most patients is approximately two weeks. Even though the sutures are removed after seven days usually people take 10 to 14 days if not longer in order to feel comfortable in social and professional settings after Asian eyelid surgery.
