Bite Correction Nasal Base Correction, nose reconstruction Mandibular advancement via bilateral sagital split osteotomy Genioplasty advancement Bone grafting for mandibular angle reconstruction Orthodontist referred the jaw surgery. Patient with severe facial deformity, mandibular hypoplasia (small lower jaw) and maxillary vertical excess (long upper jaw). Also patients exibits facial assymetry in the nose, upper lip and chin. Occlusal plane of this patient is extremely steep and requires surgery for both jaws with conterclockwise rotation of occlusal plane (imaginary plane where the teeth meet in sagital plane-side view). Midline corrections will be build into virtual surgical planning. During the surgery nasal and lip reconstruction is important to establish upper face balance. Bilateral Sagital split osteotomy for mandibular advancement and genioplasty for chin progection. Bone grafting for mandibular angle reconstruction. Major airway advancement is achived with this bymaxillary advancement and facial skeleton rotation. This is the only permanent treatment for obstractive sleep apnea.
