35-44 year old woman treated with AlloDerm

This 35 year old patient had multiple previous breast augmentations performed and was very unhappy with her outcome. She had been considering in reconstructive surgery for about a year and began to do some research online regarding that specific procedure. As she was researching the procedure a plastic surgeon's name popped up. She came in for a consultation to discuss revisionary breast surgery with him and after being examined by him was deemed a good candidate for this procedure. He noticed that the patient had implant mal-position and believed only exchanging the implants would not achieve her goals. She would benefit from internal capsule work (also known as internal bra or capsulorrhaphy) as well as Allograft . The internal bra or capsulorrhaphy procedure involves the use of an internal sutures/bra to close a portion of the breast pocket in order to correct displacement of the implant for future references. She agreed and decided she would like to move forward with surgery. She scheduled her surgery date soon thereafter. She is currently 4 weeks post revisionary breast surgery.
