This woman in her mid thirties had always wanted to improve the appearance of her nose. She was displeased with the dorsal hump, the excessive length of her nose and the way it hung down over her upper lip. She underwent an open rhinoplasty with reduction of the dorsal hump and narrowing of the entire nasal profile. The alar (tip) cartilages were reduced and then supported with a cartilage graft taken from her septum. The surgery dramatically improved the dimensions and position of her nose, making her look younger and more attractive.
