Half way through port wine stain treatments and its looking good. I use a variety of vascular lasers to treat red birthmarks including the 595, or V BEAM pulse dye laser as well as the 755, and 1064 Nd Yag. Most port wine stains require 6-8 treatments for optimal outcomes, however with just one or two sessions they can be significantly faded. Bruising following laser is always seen and does take a week or so to resolve.
