This 37 year old patient has been considering re-augmentation of her left breast for years. She previously had a breast augmentation performed from another plastic surgeon and produced an encapsulation in her left breast.  He decided he would exchange the implants she had for new ones and also remove the scar tissue she had developed in her left breast. He also decided it was necessary to use Alloderm, a cellular dermal matrix that is derived from donated human skin tissue. This structure acts as a frame for your tissue to grow into and around. She agreed and she decided to schedule her surgery date soon thereafter. She is currently 3 months and 2 weeks post revisionary breast surgery.
