56 year old woman treated with Butt Lift and Buttock Augmentation with Fat Grafts (Brazilian Lift)

A 56-year-old cosmetic surgery patient presented in our cosmetic surgery office for consultation regarding body contouring surgery. In depth clinical evaluation demonstrated flat buttocks due to lack of volume (fat) with sagging of the cheeks due to skin laxity (loss of skin elasticity). Patient has no waist due to fat accumulation between waist line and hips what gives very unattractive, square, flat, deflated look to entire area extending from the lower back to the upper thighs (left). Surgery was performed in general anesthesia in our office based Surgery Center. In order to lift the buttocks an ellipse of skin was removed in the area just above the buttock and buttocks were lifted. The redundant skin and fat tissue instead of being discarded were buried underneath to add the bulk to lifted buttocks. In addition to this, skin grafts were harvested in the process of shaping (liposculpting) lower back and waist and injected into buttocks for additional enlargement. Patient was discharged home a couple hours after surgery. Notice improvement in the waist, lower back, fullness, shape and lift of buttocks. Scars are well hidden with any type of underwear. A patient is shown before surgery; notice a square looking buttocks and lower back, there is no waist; buttocks appear flat and saggy. After surgery image demonstrates significant improvements; there is a waist, buttocks have a feminine C-like curve that starts at the waist and ends in the upper thighs. Full, perky, very feminine buttocks. Symmetric scars well hidden with any style of underwear.
