Otoplasty Patient A 31-year-old, plastic surgery patient came to our cosmetic surgery office requesting correction of her ears. She had this problem her entire life and was occasionally intimidated by her appearance. Clinical examination confirmed a loop/ear deformity (left ) which can be successfully corrected with a simple surgery. Usually this birth deformity is corrected early in the childhood (age 6 years and older) before a child starts the school to avoid intimidation and bullying by the peers. In local anesthesia in our office surgery center we performed ear surgery bringing ears close to the head and correcting the shape of her ears as well (right)
