An 18-years-old cosmetic surgery patient came to our office for consultation about nose surgery. She was mostly concerned of a “heavy tip of the nose” and small hump. She wanted her nose to be “more delicate”.

On clinical presentation she was found to have a slightly longer and wider nose, small dorsal hump and bulbous nasal tip due to strong tip cartilages. We discussed improvement of the tip, removal of a hump, narrowing and shortening of the nose. There was no evidence of septum deviation and related breathing problems. An open rhinoplasty was performed and it involved reduction of the hump, narrowing of the nose and refinement of nasal tip cartilages. She had a splint for 7 days after surgery.
