This patient was unhappy with the size and shape of her breasts. She underwent a breast reduction using a vertical technique, meaning the transverse scar along the inframammary fold was eliminated. As opposed to older methods, this technique relies more on shaping the breast gland itself so the breast shape is more long lasting. Approximately 400g of breast tissue (0.9 lb.) were removed from each side.
