A 62 year old female noticed that she looked old and tired and that she didn't like the way that her neck looked. During her initial consultation, I noted immediately that this patient’s neck had to undergo liposuction and then tightened. Also, her upper and lower eyelids were heavy and needed a slight tuck. The facial muscles needed tightening in order to bring the cheek soft tissues back up to where they belong.
During surgery, I performed liposuction to suck the fat away. I tightened the loose neck and face in a 45 degree superolateral vector. The neck line and jaw line cleaned up very well as did the jowls. I decided to remove excess skin and fat from the heavy upper and lower eyelids, and then performed fat graft on the mid-face with a small amount of fat to promote collagen growth and rejuvenate the skin.
