Even though my treatment of choice is laser for sun damage, chemical peels can still have a dramatic effect on solar keratosis and sun damage. This photography was take over 8 years ago, when I still conducted TCA peels on a regular basis. This was a mix of Jessner's and TCA, one peel with a 9 day recovery. Note the improvement in skin texture, but look at how much tighter her skin is. Fractional lasers such as Fraxel I927 has largely replaced TCA peels, and CO2 Fractional can produce equally good skin tightening. Such is progress over the past decade.
