    This patient had 3 prior surgeries before seeing Dr. Shah. Originally, this patient suffered damage to her nose after a car accident. One of the surgeons placed an artificial implant in her nose (Gore-Tex). This implant became infected 6 years later and resulted in extrusion from the soft tissue envelope of the nose.
