Mommy Makeover

This patient in her early fifties came to my office to discuss breast augmentation. We discussed her goals from surgery and I recommended a combined mastopexy (breast lift) and implant augmentation. She choose 375cc silicone gel implants placed under the muscle. I used a circumareolar (around the nipple area) technique for the mastopexy and placed the implants through this incision. I used high profile smooth wall round implants. As you can see from her post-operative photographs, I did an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) for her also. Although this patient did not decide to have her tummy tuck until after her breast augmentation and lift, I often perform breast and abdominal surgery at the same operation.
