Revisional Eyelid Surgery

The picture on the left shows a female who underwent cosmetic lower eyelid blepharoplasty by an outside plastic surgeon 5 years ago. As you can tell, the whites of her eyes are showing and she cannot close her eyes. The photo on the right shows post-operative revisional surgery with a hard palate graft to raise the lower eyelid. Note the return to the natural V-shaped corners compared to the “operated” look on the left.
