Breast Reconstruction

This woman, in her 40s, is one of our many Breast Reconstruction patients. Immediately following what's known as a Nipple Sparing Mastectomy of her left breast, Dr. Lepore performed her Reconstruction. Her breast was reconstructed with a form-stable, or gummy bear silicone implant (in this case, Allergan 410, teardrop shape, moderate profile - 320cc), inserted sub-pectorally. To further complete her cosmetic result, a graft of Acellular Dermal Matrix was used to provide more coverage of the lower pole of her breast. The After photos were taken 2 months following her surgery.
