This patient underwent a left mastectomy after radiation therapy. Her left breast was reconstructed by another plastic surgeon who used an implant that was too large. The result of her first reconstruction shows that her left breast is uneven is position and size compared to the right breast. She consulted with Dr. Gregory Park, who recommended removal of her first implant, repair of her left breast crease (inframammary fold), and placement of a smaller silicone breast implant for the first stage of her reconstructive revision. The second stage involved placement of autologous fat grafts around the left breast implant to create a smoother transition between the implant and the surrounding chest wall. 1 year after surgery.
