Breast Implant Removal, Breast Lift 2 Stage procedure

This 27 year old patient was interested in achieving larger breasts with more fullness and cleavage. It was determined that the patient would need a breast lift performed. While breast augmentation or mastopexy surgery performed separately have less potential risk and complications, breast augmentation/mastopexy surgery performed together carry a higher chance of complications and need for further surgery. Any of these complications may require further surgery, therefore, increasing the likelihood of revisionary surgery. To avoid these risks a '2-stage procedure’ was recommended, first stage being a breast lift followed by augmentation once the patient heals. This would help the patient best achieve her goals. The patient proceeded with surgery and is currently 2 months post breast lift. She will return once she is completely healed to have a breast augmentation.
