Sculptra® is not like traditional fillers that “fill” or “plump” the skin. Instead, your own collagen will build around the molecule and cause the skin to increase in thickness. The collagen growth does build upon one another, so it will take multiple treatments in order to achieve your final result. The effects of Sculptra® are quite long lasting, especially with maintenance treatments and can last for approximately 2–3 years.
