45 year old female for fat grafting to the breasts

This 45 year old patient is seen 2 years after breast enhancement with living fat grafts and a peri-areolar lift. 400 cc of fat was transferred to each breast so there is no implant that will ever have to be removed. The patient's own fat was harvested in a way that maximizes its survival to then be placed within the tissue surrounding the breast. With a procedure called autologous fat grafting, fat is allowed to acquire a new blood supply which then allows it to survive - when this occurs, the fat then has the potential to last a lifetime. At 2 years, the breasts are soft, supple and totally natural without any lumps or bumps or irregularities and since there is no implant, it will never have to be removed or acquire any of the problems of a breast implant. In addition, unlike an implant which can move and cause implant deformities, fat can be place anywhere to fill in areas that an implant can never reach to create a contour that matches the breast beautifully - especially in a patient like this were drooping already exists. Her final results have shown complete stability of the fat over time - even with weight loss!
