Asian eyelid surgery for excess skin

This is an Asian woman in her late 30s who presented to me with a desire to have a crease that was higher than her existing crease. In fact her existing eyelid fold was so low that it was very difficult to see the crease below. This patient had no desire to change her overall appearance or identity but she had specific request for her Asian eyelid surgery regarding her ability to use makeup and having approximately 3 mm of eyelid show between the eyelid fold and the eyelashes. Here she is approximately 2 months after surgery looking very natural and very happy with her result. Asian eyelid surgery is a specialized type of blepharoplasty or eyelid surgery that requires a great deal of skill and experienced with the Asian eyelid.
