Liposonix

This patient underwent treatment with Liposonix, a non invasive method of shrinking subcutaneous fat using high frequency focused ultrasound. After a single treatment, lasting about an hour, the patient gradually lost fat over the abdominal area over a period of 12 weeks after treatment with Liposonix. Toronto patients enrolled in a recent study of Liposonix had a satisfaction rate of 90% with the treatment. Treatment with Liposonix involves no incision of any kind, and no significant downtime. The front and lateral views of this patient demonstrate a typical degree of fat loss, the average being 2.8cm reduction in waste measurement which translates into one pant or skirt size. Liposonix is not for overweight individuals but can be considered in patients like this one, who are close to their ideal body weight and have good skin tone.
