Background: This 70 year old woman from the San Francisco East Bay consulted with me to address the wrinkles beneath her eyes, and around her cheeks and mouth. She was also frustrated with the droopiness of her eyelids. She was interested in exploring both surgical and non-surgical options. This would be her first cosmetic procedure so she wanted to be sure she had all the information available to her to review before making her decision.

My Assessment: “She is a very attractive woman who is aging very well. It is natural to lose volume in the cheeks and accumulate excess skin around the eyes. The volume loss in her cheeks is easily addresses using non-surgical Dermafillers. These add volume beneath the skin to lift and plump the area, providing a nice contour to the face. To address the excess skin in the upper eye lid, a surgical Blepharoplasty surgery is required. For minor cases such as hers, the procedure can be done in-office with local anesthesia.”

Procedure: One 1.3cc syringe Radiesse injected to the cheeks, Upper Lid Blepharoplasty

One Month Follow-Up: She is healing very well from surgery. Her results are already stunning! The combination of surgery and Dermafillers lifted and refreshed her face, helping her to look well-rested and at least 10 years younger.
