this patient has an L-shaped implant placed me years ago which resulted in shortening and scarring of her columella. We performed cartilage grafting to her columella and nasal tip to create a longer nose all performed under local anesthesia. Asian revision rhinoplasty is a delicate and time-consuming procedure that requires significant cartilage grafting for a good outcome. The healing time for revision rhinoplasty can be weeks to months in the sense that swelling can linger for long period of time but most patients look fairly natural within a few weeks.
