Case illustrates how a chin implant can improve the aesthetics of a necklift. Patient has a retrusive mandible, which was augmented with a silicone chin implant. A neck lift was performed via a limited "U" incision around the ears, submental fat was directly excised and the separated platysmal bands were reunited in a "corset" fashion. B/A pics are 9 months post-op and demonstrate better balance of the upper 2/3rds of the face with the lower face & neck.
