I had posterior repair surgery for a rectocele a couple months ago but the surgeon did not include a perineorrhaphy. I would have liked to have had perineoplasty done at the same time but since it was not can a separate perineoplasty surgery be done? Thanks
I had a labiaplasty mid-July, I noticed after all of the swelling went down I was left with this lump of tissue. I really dislike the appearance of it so I was wondering if there's any type of surgery that could be done to safely remove it? The plastic surgeon that originally did my labiaplasty, didn't feel comfortable with performing an additional surgery in the future to remove the excess skin. He said with all of the connective tissue it's risky.
I dislike this area of loose skin near my anus; I recently consulted w a top female genital plastic surgeon and he said he does not do that area . Should I seek removal from a colorectal surgeon? Is this a hemorrhoid? There is no pain I just find it unsightly. The Dr I consulted with was going to do a parneoplasty but said I didnt need it, so maybe I should see a specialist for this body area?
Ive been considering getting a perineoplasty and Ive been looking at a lot of before and after photos. Ive noticed that in many of the after photos the vaginal opening is no longer gaping or visible at all anymore but in some of the other photos some women still had a little bit of gape. Is this something that cant be helped or is it personal preference or maybe the quality of skills a doctor has? I would be very disappointed to have this surgery and still be left with a slightly gaping vagina
I had a perineoplasty about 6-7 months ago and now out of the blue it seems that it has gone right back to how it was pre-surgery and even worst. My vagina opening is back to pre-surgery and my perineium is now more separated than prior to surgery. Why did this happen? Followed my surgeons advice on healing. No sex or exercise for more than 3 mos. Things seemed to be ok until the last week.
I have this loose skin between vaginal hole and anus since as long as i remember.it looks like a tail and is quite embarrasing.it doesnt hurt or anything and is squishy to touch.i am 31 years female.what can be done for this?thank you
I had a labiaplasty done almost 15 weeks ago and at first I was happy; I've since noticed it was done quite aggressively and has left my vaginal opening with out any covering and has as such left me with an open appearance. Would a perineoplasty help close the opening slightly please?
A perfect storm left a variety of damage after my second (and last) vaginal delivery. My Urogynecologist referred me to a Colorectal Surgeon to first correct internal rectal damage. I am booked for triple hemorrhoidectomy on 8.12 The surgeon also offered to remove loose tissue and external scar tissue. He said he hoped to achieve 95% return to visual normalcy in reconstruction of the anus. He will also look at an internal perineal wall fissure. Should I somehow request a plastic surgeon?
Hello ! I recently had a Perineoplasty along with Vaginal tightening , the perineum muscles are too tight and am wondering if it is possible to loosen the area with another surgery , my husband and I are having issues with penetration and also noticed the area is now very dry (no natural lubrication) like before the surgery . Can you please give insight and would loosening the muscles be another major procedure ? Thank you
