I just had this done yesterday, and I was told to wash my face with Cepaphil 3 times a day, apply the vinegar soak with a washcloth, and then apply vaseline. That made sense until I tried it. Do I actually rub and completely cleanse the vaseline off every time? It takes a lot of rubbing to get all that vaseline off. Am I supposed to get it 100% clean or is that irritating my skin too much? Plus, how do I apply the vinegar soak afterwards? Do I simply soak a washcloth with the vinegar/water solution and then lay it on my face for a minute or two? Please help me understand these specifics. I've searched all over on line and my doctor's office is closed. I don't want to be washing and soaking the wrong way. Thanks so much.
I had this treatment a week ago, and although I am back at work, and wearing make-up, I'm still very red. My skin is not irritated or broken-out, just red. Can anyone tell me how long this should persist? How long is the TOTAL recovery time for the Pearl Fractional Laser?
I am in day three of my Pearl Laser treatment. I have whiteheads surrounding my mouth, chin and nose. Is this normal? I understand that the honeycomb appearance is normal. I have been doing the vinegar soak and constant aquaphor. Help, I am doing my best not to pick at them!
4 years ago I underwent a Pearl Laser treatment. The aesthetic doctor advised it was the best treatment for me. I expressed concerns regarding waxy bumps on my face which she could not diagnose, but said that the Pearl Laser would clear the condition. After a very expensive procedure,my pores are flattened and appear larger.Since then the bumps have been diagnosed as sebaceous hyperplasia. Pls can you advise on treatments that would help for both sebaceous hyperplasia and the condition of my skin.
I had Pearl Fusion full face treatment 20 days ago. The redness is still quite obvious and I'm having to use green concealer and mineral make up to cover this. I don't usually wear make up on my skin so this is driving me crazy! Is it ok to use Hydrocortisone to help reduce the redness? If it is ok, how often and for long should I use it? I have fair coloured skin.
I had the Cutera Pearl Laser treatment 6 weeks ago for melasma. Now it looks worse, like they are now splatters all over my face unlike before they were just in ceartain areas. The doctor wants to do another one but I scared it will be even worse again. What should I do?
