She’s well-known for being extremely open about her long-term struggle with acne<\/a>—and the ensuing continued quest to maintain a clear complexion. To that point, she’s tried countless products (and treatments), ultimately ending up with an extensive skin-care regimen that rivals that of a seasoned beauty editor. <\/p>

Ringing in at around $1,000, her routine involves a good amount of splurge-worthy picks, but there are some budget-friendly buys she loves too. We hopped on a Zoom call with Iaconetti where she played show-and-tell and walked us through her morning and evening skin-care routines. Ashley’s morning skin-care routine<\/h2>

Cleanser<\/h3>

“I’ve been using the Jan Marini Skin Care Management System<\/a> [$310] for about three months now, and I’ve really noticed a difference in my skin. My aesthetician, Candace Marino<\/a>, who I’ve been seeing since 2016, suggested I try to stick with a complete protocol from one brand, since I’m always mixing and matching products. I definitely still mix and match, but since using the full system, I’ve noticed that my redness has improved and the closed comedones I had are really going away. My aesthetician also told me to double cleanse, so I always do that. <\/p>

“I start with the Jan Marini Bioglycolic Face Cleanser<\/a> [$42], and then I use the PanOxyl Acne Foaming Wash<\/a> [$9.50], one of my drugstore staples. I’ve been using it for 10 years because it really helped clear up my skin. It has benzoyl peroxide in it, so it can be a little drying at first, but now my skin is completely used to it. I’ve also used it in the shower to treat breakouts on my back and chest before.”<\/p>

Serums and moisturizer<\/h3>

“After cleansing, I move on to my serums. I have a really expensive, custom one that was made for me and contains my plasma, so I use that first, and then I apply the Jan Marini C-Esta Face Serum<\/a> [$116]. I  follow that with the Jan Marini BioClear Face Lotion<\/a> [$80] and the Jan Marini Transformation Face Cream<\/a> [$112], all of which are part of the system. <\/p>

“I also add on the Jan Marini RosaLieve<\/a> [$90], a redness-relieving product that works great for me because I have really ruddy skin. The nice thing about the Jan Marini products is that you can put them all on back-to-back and they layer really well.”<\/p>

Sunscreen<\/h3>

“I wear sunscreen year-round but am always switching up the one I’m using. Right now, I’m loving the Senté Invisible Shield<\/a> [$38]. I usually go for physical sunscreens, which this one is, because I find they’re less likely to clog my pores. It’s also a tinted formula, which I normally don’t love, but this one is great. It doesn’t necessarily look like you’re wearing foundation, it more just blurs away imperfections and melts into the skin, without ever settling into pores or fine lines. And if I’m going to wear makeup, which I do most days, it layers really nicely underneath. I have melasma, and I can get really bad brown spots, even when I’m wearing sunscreen. So if I’m going to the beach or pool, I’ll not only use sunscreen but also wear one of those Daft Punk–style face shields, for extra protection.”<\/p>
