Today we released our latest Aesthetics Trend Report, which highlights the 20 nonsurgical and surgical procedures that saw the highest year-over-year growth in interest. <\/p>

According to the new report, interest in cosmetic surgery revision and corrective procedures is increasing on RealSelf, with one nonsurgical and four surgical treatments ranking among the year’s fastest-growing treatments. The cosmetic treatment with the highest year-over-year growth is the nonsurgical muscle toning treatment Emsculpt<\/a>, which saw an increase of 450% compared to 2018. The 2019 Aesthetics Trend Report is based on traffic from consumers in the United States who researched cosmetic treatments on RealSelf.com between January 1, 2019, and October 31, 2019.<\/p>

On the Rise: Revision, Removal, and Corrective Treatments<\/strong><\/h2>

One of the most notable trends from this year’s report is the prevalence of treatments meant to correct or revise previous cosmetic surgeries. Hyaluronidase<\/a>, an injectable enzyme that breaks down hyaluronic acid–based fillers, ranks No. 3 on the list of fastest-growing nonsurgical treatments, with 50% growth compared to 2018. On the surgical side, a total of four revision treatments makes the list, including liposuction revision (No. 2), with 183% growth; tummy tuck revision (No. 7), with 100% growth; breast implant removal<\/a> (No. 8), with 91% interest increase; and silicone injection removal<\/a> (No. 9), with 89% growth.<\/p>

Even with increasing interest in breast implant removal, interest in breast augmentation<\/a> remains high. Topping the surgical list, with the highest year-over-year growth, Motiva breast implants saw a 314% jump in interest compared to 2018. Breast implant brand Natrelle also made the top 10 list; it comes in at No. 8, with 91% growth. <\/p>
