The reality star turned entrepreneur has been especially present on Instagram recently, where she’s been sharing bluntly honest reviews on everything from drugstore primers to high-end face masks with her nearly 3 million followers. She’s also been extremely outspoken about her distaste for filters and unrealistic beauty ideals (particularly those perpetuated by the Kardashians). Her latest post? A candid video detailing the cosmetic procedures she’s had—and what she plans on getting in the future.
In the video, titled The Plastic Surgery Tour Part One, 52-year-old Frankel admits that she feels a responsibility to be up front, given her recent focus on beauty. “Let’s have the plastic surgery conversation. I owe it to you to be totally transparent with you because I entered into this beauty space… I feel a responsibility based on the fact that we’ve been talking about skin and beauty and it would just be fraudulent for me to just go do something and then act like this was natural. I went on a plastic surgery tour,” she said.
She went on to detail all the work she’s had: masseter Botox (which she said “drastically” changed her face); filler, once; Botox, once or twice per year; and a breast lift, 15 years ago. “That’s not all I will do though. I like the way I look. I’m okay. I don’t even think I really need it. The only reason I would contemplate this is, I will eventually do this I believe. And I don’t want to do it later, when everything is hanging,” she explained.
While Frankel didn’t specify exactly what type of surgery or procedure she was interested in or planning on, it’s safe to bet that she’ll share the details with followers and fans in real time. “Many of you will judge me…. You can say, ‘You’re crazy, you’re superficial, you’re like everyone else, you’re selling out.” Whatever you want to say, I get it. Judge me, but you will not judge me for lying to you. Because we’ve discussed so many things with beauty and age and that would be a full, fraudulent scam,” she said.
