I have had many laser treatments along with other procedures like Kybella and Morpheus 8 to reduce volume under my chin and to tighten the lax skin. After menopause, the elastin in my skin has gone downhill. I finally elected to have a lower facelift and neck lift with chin lipo to resolve the dangly loose skin under my chin. One year later the skin looks puckered or pleated. It's worse in the morning and only looks less prominent if I moisturize. Why does it look like this and what can I do?
Approximately 1 year ago I had a facelift, necklift and upper and blepharoplasty. At this time I still have numbness on the left side of my face from ear to mid-face. In addition, I also have puckering under my chin. Two questions is the numbness permanent and what can be done about puckering. From pictures you can see left side of chin below mouth doesnt move as much as right.
Hello. I had a deep neck lift last january and had a revision in june to correct some sagging on each side as well as some puckering (dog ears) on either side of the scar. 3 months later i had another procedure to elongate the incision in an attempt to correct the dog ears. Today, the sides of my neck are starting to sag and the puckering seems to be getting worse.. any ideas on where i should turn now? Thankks!
Facelift, lower eyelid, fat grafting under the eyes, necklift w muscle tightening. I still have bags under my eyes, jowls. My surgeon says I need a relift of the cheek area w more fat grafting. The neck issue he said was caused by scar tissue and lack of fat in my neck. He never suggested anything to fix it. I do not want the relift bc he will do it in his office not the surgical center. I am going to have to live with the results on my face but I cannot live with how bad my neck looks.
So it's been 3 months now . I have had this tethering/ pleating of the skin on my neck since my surgery . Doctor injected a two steroid shots at around 6 weeks but it still looks like this . I do not go back to seem him again until Aug. He is just saying give it time . I would just like another opinion and what can possibly be done to get rid of this. I'm including one picture a few weeks after the surgery along with 3 taken 3 months post op.
I had a platysmaplasty revision 11 days ago. At day 5 I was told to take down the dressing and the scar had not come together and had formed a wide scab. I contacted the CS and he was going overseas and I saw his partner the same day who sutured it together. I now have puckering on the underside of the scar. Will this flatten? I also have a pocket on left side of my chin. What is this and what can I do about it? I am very self conscious going back to work next week.
It's now 11 months since I have had a neck lift, and both my temples (just above the ears) are puckered - where my PS sutured the skin. I'm wondering if anything can be done to remedy this situation so that it can even out flat. Currently, I have been letting my hair covered my ears, but I'd prefer to style my hair up as it give me a better profile. Please, could you let me know if these puckered skin could be rectified? Thank you!
I had a face/necklift last year in September. My neck had a pucker after a couple of weeks after the surgery. The doctor said you have too much skin and muscle and skin needed to be seperated with a vy. Had this done 5 months later in February. My neck looked great for a couple of weeks and then same thing happened. Doctor says I need another of the same procedure as the fist. Had a consult and this doctor said doing the same procedure will not correct it. He recommends zplasty. HELP!
I am two weeks out from neck lift surgery. Behind my chin incision, I have deep puckering to my neck. I think this was a traditional lift as he cut me behind the ears. Did something go wrong, or will it eventially smooth out?
