Hi I have had 3 moles removed from my face 12 days ago via shave method and now I have noticed these moles have turned yellow and are oozing with pus? Is this normal? Do I need to remove the pus? My surgeon didn't give me much advice on after care apart from using vasseline which I have been doing constantly. I wasn't told on what the healing process would look like and about what's normal and what isn't so I have no clue if they're healing or getting worse. Also when can I wear makeup to cover?
I amm 45 yrs ol dAbout a year and a half ago I had a skin colored mole appear on my face. Its about the size of a pencil eraser and slightly raised. No other symptoms didnt even think anything about it. Then 2 weeks ago a bubble grew from it. And the surrounding area of the original mole iched. Then popped and oozed. The bubble is still there the original is flattening.
Is it possible for a normal mole to have a scab that oozes when disturbed and has the liquid seems to cause the scab to grow or spread? I know I shouldn't have picked and in wondering if I simply infected it possibly. But I'm just trying not to get worried.
Day 1 i put a bandaid on it an saw that the area around it was red, it started bleeding an it also was oozing. Day 2 still red an started crusting, the area was swollen, also sore and itchy, so my mom talked to a pharmacist, the pharmacist suggested washing it out twice a day with soap and water then gave my mom antibiotic ointment that has bacitracin zinc, neomycin sulfate, polymyxin b sulfate in it, so thats what ive been doing every day since then but the crustiness is worse, it is still red.
