About a month ago I noticed the mole on my lower back was scaly and itchy. Last week it started to swell feeling like it was going to burst, and turned red. Now it's crumbling off in pieces, bleeding in different spots, lazing yellow stuff, and my whole lower back is red and hot. It hurts so bad.
Hi! 1 month are go I went to a skin doctor for a routine check and concern about a few moles, the moles were removed and sent for biopsy and were returned all benign. the 3 mole removed started to heal, 2 on my arm and 1 on my face, the face and 1 on the arm healed normally. But 1 spot on the arm gotten hard and lump-like, a little itchy as well. It smooth and a little raised. I cannot visit the doctor right now (out of country) but I wonder if this is normal and if it will go away.
I had a biopsy done on said mole and it was revealed it was a harmless congenital mole. It is on my side, below my ribs. But it was very deep and had roots down past my dermis. It was removed several months ago, but now has a dark, brownish-black colored dot on one side of it and is very pink. It also constantly itches and sometimes burns. (Pictures)
I fear the rash more than the wound! It's purple, raised, itchy, & seems to get worse daily... I'm also concerned by the fact that the wound hasn't closed at all. It's actually slightly larger now. Initially, the bandaids seemed to cause itchy bumps, so I switched to Tegaderm which felt amazing!, but fluid kept accumulating. Today I stopped using the Polysporin from the doc & bought some Vasoline. Still worried. Upside? It's benign :)
Is it skin cancer? It's swollen and like flaky and has a scab like texture. It's so itchy i can't tell you. It's dark brown and has a continuous color throughout. what should i do next?
