I had a benign mole removed from my chin which was about 1cm by 1cm and was rasied. It was cut out and stitched up but now the hairs are growing back under my skin and under the scarring area and won't come out. what should I do and is this normal?
I removed a mole on my head over 5 weeks ago. It was small and never thiught it would make a problem with the follicales. PLease see the picture amd advise me best to what my options are to regrow hair. This look horrible and i love to keep my hair short.
I have a mole that I was born with. I went to a dermatologist today and they told me I have two options. They can shave it off or cut it and get stitches. Im very confused and wanna know which would be best. I also dont want it to grow back if thats possible. I also get hairs on my mole. Please help me make the right decision.
Four days ago I had a mole removed from my face. I am doing the right thing and covering the wound with vaseline and band aids. The mole used to have black hairs growing out of it, and they are still growing through the wound. Should I pluck these hairs out as the skin heals? Or should I just let the skin heal before plucking? If I do it now will it stop hairs growing through the scar once it's healed? Or could it make the scar worse? The area is still very tender, so plucking seems very painful!
I have a raised, pigmented mole on my chin (that also grows hair). It isn't very big, probably about the size of medium-large pimple. I am planning to get it shaved two months before my wedding. Is shaving a mole like this the best option? Will it be effective or do I need to get it completely cut out? Is it more likely to leave a scar or spot because it is raised and pigmented?
I had a mole removed off my face which left a 2mm raised hypertrophic scar 2 years ago. To my surprise facial hair and occasionally pimples grow out the scar, when I thought hair and pimples cannot grow through scar tissue. When I dont touch the scar for a while it is white however if I rub it, it becomes slightly red. What does this mean for my scar? does it mean the skin their is still healthy and perhaps the scar still has a chance of improving more? Thanks.
