Hello i have big mole right next to my ear and it is about 1cm in height and 0,5cm in width. It is also raised... Is it possible to have it surgical excised, or what would be the preferred option for removal? Also would the scar be very big and noticeable or not(doesn't matter so much as it is partly covered by my hair though)?
I've had (what I thought) was a small mole on my ear for a while now - when I looked back at it today, it has gotten bigger, redder and the skin looks drier and peeling. The picture attached is from today when I had a look and noticed a difference. What could this be? Should I be worried?
I've had this mole on my ear since I was young and want it gone. I had it checked by my doctor and he said it was just a raised mole that was harmless but was dangerous to cut off. I have been embarrassed of this Mole since I had it and will do anything to get it off. I have heard about removing it with acv and that it's worked for most but done even worse on others. I was wondering if this was safe for my mole or if there was any other safe way to remove it. If not no problem and thank you.
I noticed about 4 years ago a bump on the back of my conchal bowl that had never been there before. I thought it may have been a pimple and tried to squeeze it but it just hurt. Not too long after I tried squeezing it again and white stuff/clear liquid came out and then started bleeding and the bump was gone. A few days later it was back and has never left. Now if I squeeze it just blood will come out and it will hurt for a few seconds. All around it the skin behind my hear is dry and peeling.
I had a lump on my left ear removed with curettage (full excision) sent for biopsy. The results shows it was an 'infiltrative' basal cell carcinoma. When I spoke to my dermatologist about the results he said that he couldn't be sure they had got it all out, that 'infiltrative' is a more aggressive type of basal cell. He said it was up to me whether I want to have my ear opened up to see if any cancer remains? He said it might not be worth it as they might have got it all? Any advice?
Hi Doctors. I have a question. I have a mole that i have had for a LONG time on the cartilage on my ear. Looking back at a pic from 7 years ago it was MUCH darker. The mole is still the same shape and size, just MUCH lighter. Is this normal? Thank you for your time!
