I removed a small mole on my right cheek, and after 6 months I still have an obvious dent on my cheek. Actually there isn't a dent after the scar went off , it just became obvious these few months. Will it recover over time? If not what kind of treatment can recover it?
My moles have been checked by derm to be non-cancerous. One doctor is offering CO2 laser and another is offering Erbium laser for my flat moles. I have a fair few of them on my face. I have read that Erbium laser gives better result than Co2 laser because it transmits less heat and does less damage? My main concern is recovering from the indentation that the laser causes and discolouration. I don't want to dent and I don't discolouration. Thank you. Stay safe!
A little over a week ago I used a mole removal cream to get rid of a flat mole I had on my nose. It took 3 overnight applications to scab. I put antibiotic ointment on the scab whenever I could. The scab fell off after 4 days and the new skin did look healthy, but there was an dent left. I put on ointment and a bandaid whenever I go out in the hot sun. Today it looks like a small indentation that is still pink.
I had a mole removed by shave incision from my nose about a week ago. The doctor told me the mole would be shaved flat, and end up looking just like my mole in color after healing, except flat. The mole was a pink/flesh colored originally. When I got home, I noticed the scab was indented in my skin. I thought maybe it would be better when the black scab came off, but it's still indented and Im worried. im just wondering if this looks like it has any chance of healing to not be indented.
I recently had a mole removed that was on my forehead it was slightly raised not very big but it was coloured. I had it removed via laser and the scab fell off two weeks later. There is no redness it is the same colour as my skin but it has left a dent in my skin. The plastic surgeon is very sure that he has left enough tissues behind for it to heal up but to me it doesn't look like it will heal anytime soon. It's been 3 weeks since the procedure, is it normal for there to be a dent in the skin?
